Poetry for the road

I surrounded myself with words that made no sense and found my compass as I wrote them down slowly, playing around with ordering them and turning them upside down.  This collection of poems is the roadmap of a journey I have not yet completed. It is what I wanted to say but did not know how. It is what I did not allow myself but needed so many times. It is what hurt me without my knowing it and what came after to put me back together. It is what is gone and will never return.

Poesía para el camino

Me he rodeado de palabras que no tenían sentido y encontré mi brújula mientras las escribía sin prisa, jugando a ordenarlas y a ponerlas del revés.  Este poemario es la hoja de ruta de un camino que todavía no he terminado.  Es lo que me quise decir pero no sabía cómo.  Es lo que no me permití pero tantas veces necesité.  Es lo que me hacía daño sin yo saberlo y lo que vino después para recomponerme.  Es lo que se fue y no volverá jamás.

An introductory workshop on poetry to overcome your fear of it and discover its transformative power. For two hours, we will explore what we can express in a poem, how to shape it, and, above all, what we can use this type of writing for, turning poetry into a tool for personal and creative expression.

Through wordplay, rhythm, and metaphors, each participant will create their own poems and find new ways of seeing and shaping the world.

Un taller de iniciación a la poesía para perderle el miedo y descubrir su fuerza transformadora. Durante dos horas exploraremos qué podemos contar en un poema, cómo darle forma y, sobre todo, para qué podemos usar este tipo de escritura, convirtiendo la poesía en una herramienta de expresión personal y creativa.

A través del juego con las palabras, el ritmo y las metáforas, cada participante creará sus propios poemas y encontrará nuevas formas de mirar y darle forma al mundo.

A space to pause, breathe, and write. For two hours, we will explore writing as a tool for self-knowledge, expression, and enjoyment. Through practical exercises, readings, and creative activities, each participant will be able to connect with their own voice and discover new ways of telling stories (about themselves).

The workshop combines individual writing sessions with optional group discussions in a safe and respectful environment.

El taller combina momentos de escritura individual con puestas en común opcionales, en un ambiente seguro y respetuoso.
